What a lovely way to spend one’s Birthday… Today I had the honour of giving an Irish Blessing online for a wedding in Burma. The couple had to get permission to marry from their neighbours who then confirmed to the Village Chief that they are a couple. He then agreed to the marriage.
Interestingly the wedding was agreed for a period of three years and after this, the couple may extend the marriage for any longer period or separate………. Now I wonder how that would work in Ireland.
